Doing a wedding this Saturday. I'm pretty green, this will be my 2nd wedding show.
Couple doesn't want dum-dum-da-dummm
Country music crowd.
I'm thinking "Look At You Girl" Chris LeDoux - because it has a slow rhythm, sweet soft melody.
But couple is a few generations younger than me, maybe something newer (I'm pretty slim at my knowledge of 2000's country. Any suggestions?

I would have the couple give me a top ten list of their fav.s and go from there. Check out billboards top 100 for 2000.

Covered that in the meeting with the bride and groom. She had songs picked out for father-daughter, bride-groom dance, and what they want playing at end of ceremony. I requested she think of something she'd like for march and text it to me (hoping she does). This isn't an extravaganza (blue jean wedding, quick ceremony and longer reception). They want to go with my judgment. I don't get to dodge having a solution ready... you shouldn't either

It's 1995 but still popular--"Keeper Of The Stars" by Tracy Byrd.

I had a bride request
Marry Me - Martina Mcbride & Pat Monohan (From the group Train)
It was a very appropriate song for the March.

Actually, I once heard someone use "Feelings". I think the choices above were better.... Gretchen Wilson's "Here For The Party"?

I keep trying to think of something that would fit your parameter of being from this century but most of the newer country "love" songs are along the line of "shake it for me." But I keep thinking I'm missing an obvious one. "God Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton is fairly new. I didn't know there was a Martina McBride version of Train's "Marry Me." That's a nice suggestion.
Some more older ones that come to mind are "I Cross My Heart" by George Strait and "I Swear" by John Michael Montgomery. "Forever And Ever Amen" by Randy Travis might be a bit too bouncy for a walk down the aisle but that's another one. The same for Phillip Phillip's "Gone, Gone, Gone." People are using that one but it's a bit raucous.
If you google country love songs or top 2014 wedding songs there are lots of lists to jog the memory but most of the country suggestions are older.

My suggestion would be George Strait's "I Cross My Heart"
Our love was unconditional; We knew it from the start I see it in your eyes; You could feel it from my heart
From here on after; Let's stay the way we where And share all the love and laughter; That a lifetime will allow
I cross my heart, And promise to Give all I've got to give, To make all your dreams come true In all the world, You'll never find A love as true as mine
You will always be the miracle, That makes my life complete And as long as there's still breath in me I'll make yours just as sweet
As we look into the future, It's as far as we can see So let's make each tomorrow, Be the best that it can be
I cross my heart, And promise to Give all I've got to give, To make all your dreams come true In all the world, You'll never find A love as true as mine
And if along the way we find a day, It starts to storm You've got the promise of my love, To keep you warm
In all the world, You'll never find A love as true as mine
