So as I mentioned in the other thread, I'm printing books soon, and I always love to grab a bunch of new songs beforehand. Here's a few songs I found while browsing around, that are only available on one disc (according to icroons anyway):
Genius of Love - Tom Tom Club - PHMR82-02
Mary Jane - Rick James - RB03-12
Big Log - Robert Plant - HC004-02

I've only been able to locate the first one. Anybody have more to add to the list?

Don't bother with that third one, HC (for Honky Cat) is utterly awful. Unless you want to hear Led Zeppelin as if is played on an accordion. I bought one of their disks to get one of my favorite songs (Any Major Dude by Steely Dan) and just threw it away.

Custard Pie - Led Zeppelin - SC8674. Surprisingly for SC, not a good version either.

The SC version of "The Night Has A Thousand Eyes" is great. Zoom also has it on their Bobby Vee Artist Disc (great disc for Bobby Vee fans ZMP024) which also includes a couple of medleys (the fast song medley is the most fun). I'm a big fan of both Bobby Vee and Gene Pitney (Zoom also had a Gene Pitney Artist Disc ZMP004) and as far as I can tell have managed to chase down every title offered from them, even buying a disc for just one song even though I'd be the only one who ever sang it.

I too have every Pitney song made in karaoke and I have one big request for "Last Chance To Turn Around". I also have every song by Gary Puckett, Roy Orbison, Buckinghams, Jay & The Americans, and many many others.

Nope doesn't classify as available on one disc, it's available on Pioneer, Sound Choice, Zoom, Essential Karaoke, Original Footage as well.

Al Stewart - Time Passages (Sound Choice 8668). It was also on a limited edition set for a nationwide karaoke competition, but it was only available to those hosting the contests so I don't classify that as available.

But it's not a bad version either and being it's the ONLY version out - it's the best version out and guarantee you aren't going to get another company to make it. The people that have sang it with me have never complained and are actually surprised I even have it at all.

True, Lonman. It can't be considered bad until it's compared to another. And since it stands alone with no competition, IT MUST BE GOOD!!!. Oh, but wait, there's this little thing called the original song. SC usually does an exceptional job of emulating the original track, and I applaud them for that, this time however... not so much.

Was it their best work, no. But it's not a bad track, not like it sounds like Music Maestro or SGB. It's VERY useable and going through a nice system makes it sound much better. I am a Led Zep avid fan & it sounds fine IMO.

Just remembered this one from a different thread/conversation

Apeman by the Kinks LG038

As lonman stated, it is a shame that karaokeversion currently only has the audioversion, because it is LIGHT YEARS ahead of that legends track.

Ooooh, I'd love to get a good copy of "Last Chance To Turn Around"... Just requested it from Karaoke Version, go add your vote. Would also love to see more from The Buckinghams , Jay & The Americans, Chad and Jeremy and even some from The Monkees.
