I know this has been covered before but am on my phone right now and can't search properly. Looking for game/contest/raffle ideas geared more for karaoke but might be able to involve anyone as well. I have done hundreds of games and stuff over the years and am idea'd out.

how about a lipsync contest night!
and record their stage presence for playback on regular karaoke nights.

"Name That Tune" --- Start a song somewhere in the middle, and play 5 to 10 seconds of it. Then have the Audience have a go at guessing the title.

Everyone that sings gets put into a raffle to sing a song of your choosing. (make it a good sing a long one) If they complete the task get them a free beer !

Make last song danceable if possible. An hour before closing our crowd begins to diminish. I came up with the idea of ticket raffle, 3 free appetizers & a free song, meaning next pulled ticket would be the next singer & the last song for the evening. Such a persuasive word “free”. We now have a good sizeable crowd till the end of the night.

Something I do at my shows when it's slow is something called "Karaoke Tag". I can't remember if I made this up, or saw it done somewhere.
I line up 4 people... preferably two guys and two girls... and the object of the game is to pass the mic on to the next person when I yell "Tag!" in the other one.
I usually pick songs like "Life is a Highway" or "Friends In Low Places"... ones that everyone knows.
Edit: Mic usually rotates the 4 about 4-6 times during the song

haven't tried it yet, just thought of it now, but how about the title game?
make it a sort of contest to not drop the title, if you do, you have to buy a drink or shot for someone, maybe the last person. first, you get a bunch of willing folks to sing or sign up WITHOUT a karaoke song.
the kj will start off the night by singing a song, let's say the rolling stone's "start me up" and then point to the next person who has to come up with a karaoke song strictly that has one of the words in the title "start" "me" or "up" or make the word "start". and around and around we go. the next person may sing billy joel's "we didn't start the fire" and now there are more words to work with. and so on. try to make a game or contest outta that.

again, i haven't tried any of these ideas, i don't have enough of a stable crowd for it
gender reversal karaoke night: have men sing only female artists and females only sing male artists. should be entertaining.
short song night. have everyone only sing short songs. winner of the best short song sang gets a prize.
words out of a hat karaoke: put in a bunch of wild words into a hat, pull out 3, someone's gotta sing a song where 2/3 words are in the lyrics and when the word is said, everybody cheers or takes a shot. or make it an open competition, who's gonna find a song with all 3 words in it? gets a prize.
rap night karaoke: try it. only rap songs. for 1 night.
name-night karaoke: how many karaoke songs can be sung with only a name in the title? or find a karaoke song that has your own name in the title or lyrics or artist shares the first name.
karaoke in the dark/candelight
on random karaoke nights, a prize will go to the person who can remember certain songs sung during the night: what was the very first karaoke song? etc.
dead artists society night: only songs by deceased artists sung all night for karaoke. kinda morbid, but there's a lot of dead artists out there.
one letter or color theme night: let's say the theme of the night is "black". everyone has to dress up in all black, and sing songs with "black" in the title or "black" in the artist names or if the letter of the night is "K" everyone has to sing songs or artists that feature that letter only. Folks who don't gets pushed down the rotation or has to buy a shot for someone.
this thread should be longer than it is

wish i had the willing crowd for these...
signature song karaoke night: for all the regulars who love their signature songs, have a different regular sing someone else's signature song and vice versa all night long
KJ's choice night: kj picks all the karaoke songs sung all night long and folks gotta sing it
sexual night: all night long, the most sexual, over the top karaoke. songs like "sexual healing", "i touch myself", "my neck, my back" "stroking" should be a memorable night. folks can dress up in pajamas or whatever.
matter of fact i'm gonna try to set up this one...sexual night
classy night: real dress-up. everyone dress to the 9s and sings real classy stuff. for this night recruit your best singers to put on a concert.
man, if i had the crowd for these.....

you said games and some of my responses were more "theme" nightish
words in a hat part II: throw in a bunch of common words into a hat like LOVE, HEART, FRIENDS and folks cannot sing any songs that deal with any of those words in the title or lyrics. if a word shows up in their karaoke song they're out. kinda like karaoke musical chairs until the last person's standing...maybe make them sing their signature songs. no looking up lyrics on cell phones
numbers game: have audience yell out numbers, pick a number and use that as a page number in your karaoke book and the karaoke singers gotta pick a song from that page to sing
alphabet game: karaoke singers gotta sing down the alphabet. try by artist first. first singer's gotta sing any artist that has an A in their name, next singer, B in their name. if they can find an artist with both first and last names with the letter the better.

I pulled together a Ka-Raffle-Oke raffle that we are running right now through July 25th.
Every time you sing - Get a raffle ticket Trivia questions @ 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30 - 3 or 4 questions each hour - Every correct answer gets a raffle ticket Buy Raffle tickets - $1 each - All of this money goes into a grand prize pot
We are being liberal with the tickets.
We do this every Fri/Sat and give away $25 cash at 1am each night. I am covering the nightly cash payout. The bar contributed $500 to seed the grand prize pot. The $500 + Raffle tickets purchases is $556 so far. At $20/week in raffle tickets the grand prized will be $750+.
This lets singers and non-singers alike have a chance at the grand prize.
Nightly drawings are at 1am. Must be present to win. Encourages people to come early, stay late, whether they sing or not.

Hosting aquaintence of mine does something similar cept its for singers only.
Every time someone sings they get a raffle ticket. At the end of a night a ticket is drawn if your ticket is called then you come up to draw from a deck of cards. The object is to pull the Ace of spades.
Now he starts with a regular deck of cards and a $40 pot from his pocket. But every time the ace is not drawn, the card picked gets destroyed making the deck smaller and increasing the odds of pulling the ace, and $20 is added by the bar each week that the ace is not picked, making the pot grow.
Consolation prize is the person picked gets to sing the last song of the night.
The most money that he's given away is $760
