Try out eBay... was a bunch on there at about $10 a CD

There was a few, but I'm not so sure why these CDG's are pricey. About 2-3 years ago they were sold for about 2$-4$. I see some 11-12 on amazon.

I have to agree here, Backstage is a horrible Casio sounding brand.

I also agree with Cueball and suggest trying Zoom for Billy Joel.

I remember when they were selling Backstage discs for 5 bucks apiece. All Hits too.

maybe people are buying them up in case their Trademarks are bought up by some other karaoke company? ;c)

I agree with Cue. Zoom/Billy is waaaay better than backstage.

I remember when they first came out in the early 90's selling just like the big boys for $20-25 each new. Back then it was an easy lure because they absolutely had songs no one else did at the time.

I have all four. Twenty dollars... includes the shipping. They are all used, but in good shape. PM me if interested.

Ha! Maybe Backstage is now a limited edition! Also seems to be one of those brands that doesn't have a clear owner, so they won't be suing you anytime soon (until PEP acquires the brand, that is).

Not sure what you guys mean Backstage sounds pretty good. I mean I only listen to a few songs. Hotel California and Don't let the Sun go down, and Careless Whisper sounds pretty nice.

Also in order to play songs, we have to rotate CDG's in a karaoke machine at all times.

Hmmm. Not sure what you are listening to but i would whole heartidly disagree. But you can usually find those discs on ebay fairly regularly.

It's possible he just has not heard a good quality brand of them songs.
But I have to agree Backstage is bottom of the barrel in Karaoke.

Rev1274, (disagreeing politely) - if I can just recommend doing a little comparison by listening to sc or zoom version of Hotel California, I think you will change your viewpoint about “backstage sounds pretty good or pretty nice”.

There're folks on EBay who sell big grabbags of 20 or more cdgs.

You get a few CBs, PHM, Nu Tech, Karaoke Kurrent, SGB and yes Backstage for roughly $1-2 apiece.

I did it one time just to see what I'd get. I did OK on what I got for the money, but I will ultimately unload most of it.
