I started with Sax & Dotty until I discovered RoxBox. When I got a Vista laptop I bought JustKaraoke. I quickly discovered Compuhost.

windows 10:

1 go into UAC (user account control) and move slider to the minimum setting.
with win10 some security features and how they are handled have changed.

2 then got into automatic update and turn it off completely. search bar type "services"
then look for windows update towards the bottem and set the setting for disabled.
this will fix issues with lag and system hanging.

3 then if your using the default windows defender for antivirus, then disable the automatic scans. same really for any antivirus at all.
this will also cause lag and system hanging when your antivirus starts a scan when you turn your computer on.

Tried the above, still won't play the song files, but same files will play on roxbox, just don't understand why , guess I'll stick with roxbox and learn to use it better

this will fix most, but not all, windows 10 karaoke issues.

but the downside is your opening yourself up if you play on the internet with your karaoke computer.
