WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's always fun to meet Forum members. A bunch of us used to set up (what we referred to as) JOLT Summits (from the old JOLT Forum). Once a year, someone would volunteer to be our host for the weekend, and we would all get together to meet for that weekend. Also, from time to time, I like to make my way around and try to hook up with someone I haven't met. Last year, I met Chip and Bird of Song. I've know them since around '96, and this was the first time we actually met face to face.
So... did you know that NSK was coming, or did he surprise you?

I might be next to have No Shame at my show tonight. Smoothe and I are only 20 to 25 miles apart. We have been completely sold out for over a week so I hope he can get in. Last night was a very big Valentine's Day party so maybe it will be a little quieter as a result.
Smoothe, what did he sing?

Smoothe, what did he sing? Angel - Shaggy Cult of Personality - Living Color Sunday Morning, Coming Down - Johnny Cash Jackson - Johnny & June (with a coworker, who's cherry was popped.).

I like getting visited by other KJs, however, I am guilty of not hitting other shows all that often. Just too busy on my off time to go hang out. Glad you had a good time

My first visit with a KS member was in early November when my wife and I met with the over-the-top gracious Brian A and his wife Pam. It was the highlight of my 7200 mile 28 day trip. I will never forget that night....... thank you Brian.

I've met a few from here Cindi Ladd (mostly on FB now) Swingcatkurt Chris Avis Phil Cross the ones I can think of right off hand, I know there were a few others though
I met several west coasters from the old JOLT forum, used to have 'mini' summits (about 10-15 people) at my shows every so often.

Smooth runs a really fun show at a bar with great bar food--especially for a SC-hating, no rotation bumpin' dude.
J/k, sir. Great time. Wish I could have stayed longer or made it to Wednesday's show--ended up dining with an old friend who moved down here and then fell asleep. I should be down again some time in April. Hopefully my awful caterwauling didn't ruin the night too much. In the Punta Gorda airport now waiting on my flight back to Pittsburgh. Thanks again for everything!

Mmrog, hopefully my next trip will coincide with one of your shows. I forgot my travel plans changed to a week where your show was open. After this sleepless week, an earlier show would have been a blessing for an old-before-his-time dude who can't wait to get back home to his own bed.

Thanks again for everything! You sang fine!! Sorry, I couldn't come out and hang more. I get busy back there, and kind of get lost in my own little world. It was great to have you there, and I look forward to seeing you again!! Your list and your spot in rotation will be waiting for you!! Thank you for the kind words!!
