I see several posts with the term "BB" being used, and it seems to refer to old crocks like me... but what do the actual letters mean?

You're probably a BB, Earl. Baby Boomers - born in the years following World War II, when there was a temporary marked increase in the birth rate as the soldiers, sailors, marines, etc. came home after the war.
