A local bar hosts a karaoke contest on the first Tuesday of the month. The singers' performances are recorded and then shared on Facebook. The winner is determined by the number of views.

However, relying solely on views may not be the most accurate method. Facebook counts a view after just 3 seconds, and considering that 85% of videos are watched without audio, it may not fully capture the performance quality.

I believe that to enhance fairness, it might be beneficial to incorporate additional metrics, such as engagement (likes, comments, shares), or even allow viewers to vote for their favorite performances.

What are some other problems any of you could see with running a karaoke contest this way?
