is it true, in your case, that you can't host 2 back-to-back good events? Ok, when I say back-to-back, I'm meaning sometimes at the exact same place, but it can be different types of events. And I'm saying back-to-back as in 24 hours.

I wrestle and struggle with this. So, I remember I had 2 separate events at the same location. Say a karaoke birthday party on Friday at the spot and then a karaoke baby shower the very next day, Saturday at the very same spot, of course different crowd. I didn't tell anyone but myself: One will be good, one will be awful. I feel like that's the way life rolls in karaoke world. Anyone agree?

If I remember right, the Friday birthday party was everything. Incredible. The next day, Saturday for the baby shower, I knew would fall apart. First clue, when I get to the exact same venue, they were surprised to see me--the venue itself forgot there was a baby shower that day. I knew things would go downhill from there.

Now, I host karaoke 4 times a week. I've had weeks where all 4 were home runs. But they were different locations, different counties, different cities. I feel like that's ok, that can happen, even back-to-back.

But I feel like, some instances of back-to-back hosting will absolutely fail and there's nothing you can do about it. One will be good, one will suck suck suck. And you can't figure out why.

All I can do is not schedule parties back-to-back, especially at the same place. I can successfully host karaoke nightly, at different venues, in different cities, different days of the week, great. But somehow, back-to-back at the same venue, both will not be great-great. I had a weekend residency of sorts at the same venue Friday and Saturday karaoke for years, usually Friday was everything, Saturday was still good but no where near Friday's energy, same exact venue, 24 hours later.

Anyone agree or disagree?
