What is the deal with the pop-ups every time I open a page here?

Weird. This is the ONLY site I get them at & it just started last week. Have no apparent viruses or ad software - as I check these daily.

Maybe I am lucky (not usually though), but I am not getting pop-ups from this site either.

I actually even have the Google toolbar that blocks popups and disabled it on this site because I get pop up notifications here when I get a PM or when someone viewed my profile. Aside from the ones I get generated by SS for the things I just mentioned, I get zero pop-ups...you are talking about ad pop-ups, right??
Maybe you have a virtual ghost or something.

Lonman,
Not that I doubt you or that I believe that you are going crazy - however, this site doesn't have any other pop-ups other than those mentioned. In fact in your profile you can turn of PM notification popups.
Could you please advise what type these are if you could take a screen shot? Then maybe I can see if I can locate the culprit. Otherwise I am, at a loss.
I have been checking this site regularly (although I may not post) I too have all types of security features on my computer. I removed them temporarily (by using "SAFE MODE") and tried to access - no popups for me.

I suggest you install the Google tool bar and select the advance option, they will be block

I don't actually get any pop ups ... other than notice of pms or profile views... but my google popup blocker does show that it IS blocking something ... usually during login. I have no idea what ... tho when I check my temporary internet files I do see cookies for sites I've NEVER been to..... i.e., media fast click ... and atdmt .. whatever that is.

Bizarro!
Because this site is clean. There are absolutely no hidden links or popups/popunders/popovers -- etc. etc.
This must be something that is installed in the individual computers - I get none of those items that you mentioned.
