Hey Steven, you ever been hunting for trophy-rate game?
You ever sit in a stand and call them to you?....You ever watch them in all their natural beauty as they respond to your call?....Sometimes it's enuff just to know you can call them to you.....That way you can just watch them in their natural environ...you can learn from them and be a better hunter.....
Hunting trophy game is just like stalking a trophy woman.....sometimes it's enuff just to know you could have nailed them....Sometimes they surrender and demand you do.
Either way, either the pics or their head end up on your wall....some trophies are more special than others, tho.....Some are really hard to bag.
...And the best of them spook real easy....so be cool, and be quiet......Don't scare them away.

Hey, it's the retired hunter who has the most to offer the wannabe.....You need to get back out there and pass along what you learned.....No one says you need to pull the trigger to be a winner.....just get them in your sights and holding still....you win.

.. Well, Like I've said.. My idea of " the winner" now is the person who ends up with the most accumulated happiness hours. To be perfectly honest, I'm ALOT more at peace without the hunting... Fewer high's, yet fewer low's.... Equilibrium is fine for now... I'd love to do some construction, perhaps knocking down another wall, building a room... Problem is, I've run out've common area under stairs.... My guess is the neighbors will get miff'd if I kick down my dining room wall, and start framing in their living room.
Might sound crazy, but I love sheetrocking, if for no other reason than I find it relaxing, forces me to focus, and I get a kick out've working with Joint Compound, sound crazy ? perhaps...Yet it relaxes me

Just think about it like we were out fishing/hunting together.....Learn to whisper and use hand signals And just watcha plannin' on doin' with the video Keith? Because if it makes money- I get 1/2 yanno. Plus my expenses back for the flight & all. :D And OH MY GOD on the "learn to whisper & use hand signals"........ our dad's were LYING when they told us to "be quiet or you'll scare the fish away". I am one of THE loudest people, wherever I go- whatever I do, and I'm pretty good at catching fish. I always have my radio playing, or I'm talking, or doing uh- "something else" pretty noisy if I'm "night catfishing"....... and I still catch fish. Only little boys grow up and believe that "you gotta be quiet" thing, then they pass it down to their kids....... Hunting-yes, but fishing- no.
I'll say it this way. Sweetcheeks,
My best night hunting I come home smelling like fish....And hoping I didn't catch anything.
And I fersure hope you make lots of noise! ...Cause I sure do.

Steven,
You are building walls.
Tear a few down instead and learn to get comfortable feeling exposed.
Work on that and then you will be lotsa more fun in a hot tub.

I wish you had a twin sister down here in Louisiana.
After I retired from the Navy, I built homes for a living....Just never found a gal who wanted to drive nails with me...so now I work for the feds.
something tells me you ain't the kind to go behind a man and pull the nails he drives for you.

Joint compound is pretty relaxing to work with for some reason, It's as close to pottery as I'm able to get , I blew too many thing's up in the Kiln..
Keith, I spent ALOT on Snap-on, Matco, and Mac tools..... Murphy's law, trucks stopped their routes in my area, after I purchase their tools, It's not advantageous Mailing tools back to Wisconson.... Should've stuck with craftsman.... or ANY cheap name that's chrome vanadium alloy..... Klein/Vaco made decent tools, but never Snap-on again..Keith you'd know this, for smaller micro-tools is WIHA a decent name ?

HA!...Yeah, I can see that too.....
I'd would rather picture Charmin with her hair full of plaster dust and grabbing a taco out of the sack for lunch-eating while she stands and surveying/planing what comes next....A gal driven to build what she needs to be secure.....A gal with long range vision....And willing to work for it next to me....And drive me when i slack off.
But that's just me.
