At the risk of making you all jealous, I will tell you about my SuperBowl Sunday as it goes so far.
I just got home from a sleepy day at work to discover Robbie had A grill full of extremely tender and tasty BBQ ribs....A huge bowl of tater salad, boiler full of sweet corn ears, and a baking dish overflowing with baked neans....The gameroom frig was stocked with icy cold Bud Light and pre game stuff was splattered all over the big screen....The horses were fed and all the dirty dishes were done, and for once my music stuff was untouched!
I think he wants me to ask for his hand in marriage.

that's a pretty good spread, but what about the crawfish? surely you cou;d have found some bugs down there even though it's a little early!
my super sunday meal consisted of jalepeno meatloaf, with garlic smashed taters. didn't gorge my self like usual, though since i'm trying to shed a few LBs. those ribs sound scrumtious! i was gonna do the whole dip and wings thing but for tow folks it seemd like a lot more trouble than it was worth. enjoy the game! my prediction is seattle 27 - pittsburgh 21

This is a true confession.
A) I didn't know today was Superbowl Sunday until I saw CCindy mention it
earlier today
B) I still don't know what two team's were playing in it.
(I really don't enjoy watching sports on TV) HEHEHE

Kappy, it's about the only sporting event I watch except for rodeo...what makes it special for me is that we use it for an excuse to pig out, drink too much and act like disgusting males....and tonight we outdid ourselves.
Steven, you need to get out more.
I can't believe there are still ribs left over.....Those are going to taste really good tomorrow!...I love cold leftover BBQ ribs.
This has been a good day for me....My team won, I pigged out, and my second ex wife called to set up a date for next Tuesday.....Wooooo-Hooo!...She is coming over after she gets off work ....I told her to pack an overnight bag, heh, heh....she just can't stay too long away from daddy.

I thought the Superbowl was all about the Add's and Commercials, with a little bit of sports between, just to fill in some time.

Didn't help much, Seattle lost. I was so depressed I went to bed right after.
Boo hoo!

If it makes you feel better, The Seahawks actually won....I'ts just that there were several bad calls by the officials that allowed the Steelers to claim victory.
I'm flame-proof about it, too.

Yeah Steelers had THEIR "12th" man right along side them....it was the ref! Many BS calls, even the commentators didn't understand a couple of them PLUS the ref reviewing upstairs even said that first Steeler TD wasn't one. It was all the refs game this year!

Hey now....I live in Colts country here. I didn't much care for the Steelers when they beat the Colts by a thin margin a while back either, but I also live half of my life in Pittsburgh, so I just want to be happy. When the Steelers fans are happy, I'm happy.
Although they still rag on me about spankin' the Colts.......maybe it was just some bad ref calls?

Well if you didn't see them, then i'm sorry. There WERE....again even the commentators stated the same things AND the upstairs ref claimed the first Steelers TD shouldn't have been....at least 4 bad calls by the ref that turned the game to Steelers favor....but whatever. Many know who REALLY should've won!

Wow! More sour football fans, Seems the Steeler nation has has better things to do than sing Karaoke. Most of the other DJ Board are mainly Steeler fans.
You forget the catch and fumble in the 1st quarter, the rest are judgement calls.
My Sunday Dinner:
12 Wings & Big Steak Hoagie.
10+ Captain and Cokes
4+ Shots of Tequillia
1 Black & Gold Drink Of Death
20+ Other shots
I had a great weekend!

I agree with the bad calls. It's hard to believe things like this can happen in the superbowl.
I was disturbed that the Seattle coach didn't shake the pittsburg's coaches hand after the game. No matter how mad you are you should still be sportsman like.
I am a huge Seattle fan, but that was wrong. I was embarrassed watching the Pittsburg coach walk around the field after looking for the other coach to shake his hand.

Okay. Someone from Seattle did win......you did.
Honestly, I missed the first half of the game + the half-time show. :(
I was predisposed with another problem that seems inherent with my profession.....lack of sleep.
But on Superbowl Sunday?!?!
Just showing that I could really care less about either team who played in the Superbowl....it's just not a way of life for me.
I like driving type sports...drag racing, NASCAR, motorcycles etc..., but I don't even have much time for that.
I seen some questionable plays in the 2nd half though that told me that inevitably, yes, this would be a Steelers biased outcome. But I don't have a problem with it. Let the umpires and refs live with their consciences. Many things in life are unfair. We just have to accept the reality sometimes because when the majority rules, no matter what, that's the bottom line.
I know the Steelers really wanted this victory, and seeing the Steelers' coach dreams come true for this one was enjoyable to watch for me. Let them live with the bad calls and spend the rest of their lives questioning whether or not the legitimacy of their fame is worth it.
He he he......I can't believe I always get involved in a discussion about sports, religion, or politics. Of which in all three, I don't know my arse from a hole in the ground. I keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Maybe I should be a ref or an umpire?
Now karaoke is becoming a non-subject of mine too. :( :newlol:

You are being just as bad doing the nose rub basically. Anyway, Steelers own QB ADMITTED that even HE did not think he should have got TD he was awarded. Plus the other "questionable" calls you missed. It was a one sided game in the Steelers favor & the refs pushed it that way.
