Ease up Steven, me and him would have split ways with or without her in the middle.

She would have found someone to do if I hadn't volunteered...Then he would have cried on my shoulder and I would have had to stiff arm him anyway...Either way our friendship was doomed cause of the way he was when it came to women and rejection....We just weren't compatable...I don't cry over them, he does.

Besides all that.... She was really cute! LMAO

I don't follow.  How would that doom your friendship with him ?  What does it have to do with your friendship with him ?

I don't hang for long with guys who get all whiney and self destructive when they "lose" a woman...I prefer a guy who just shrugs it off and next day is ready to move on to something new.

Come on, the gal wasn't serious about me or I would have avoided her, but still stiffed him anyway......He was a train wreck waiting to happen.

Look at it this way, she was thru with him and cheating on him...So I took my turn with her....It was that or miss it, so i took it....

It had nothing to do with him for either of us...she was past him and I saw she wasn't looking for anything more than a quickie....I didn't take anything from him...she had already moved past both of us by the time he found out.....It wasn't like I was still squeezing on her....We-me n him were both free.

He still had me as a friend, but he decided to go into pitty mode and try to blame me then himself....I still respected him up to that point cause I know how women are.....But when he got all whiney and started crying, I went on down the road and left him to his self pitty and blame.

If I stayed distant from other males because they weren't impervious to emotional pain, and vulnerabilities that happen when people get emotionally close to women, I'd be on here typing another additional 1/2 hour each day... There'd be no male friends to chat with in real.. What's worse, is I'd not be close to, or trust any females either.  I can deal with some physical pain, but emotional pain, and feeling all alone in this world and abandoned is a killer. Been there, won't inflict it on too many...I don't believe in a deity.. I need to begin trusting down here on earth someplace...

LOL,  Well, I think you might survive without that Schoen??? guitar pre-Framus, I saw no listing in Orion...Did a quick history check and not sure what name the guitar would be listed under, it's not listed in the bluebook as Valencia.  Not even the violin maker Shoenburg is it ?  Yet I did find out that in 1995 Warwick pretty much kicked off Framus's ghost..I was wondering what the "W" on the speaker grill was, don't recall Westbury, or West having a "W" like that...

Keith, check out this updated site http://www.framus.com/guitars.htm, they have some nice looking new guitars, but to me looks like another company that might run into probs such as Ibanez did in the 70's "lawsuit" model guitars. Unless Gibson no longer owns the patent on the Les Paul design, yet they did as of a few years back..

I'm going to find that old guitar of yours Keith even if I end up on some type of unicorn hunt and have to look up bulldozer operators in the Southeast to findout what's written on the headstock, I do stupid searches like this for obscure stuff as a hobby LMAO ... If there is no listing, I'll just dig deeper...

I'm the last guy to inflict pain on another man.....But I am also the last guy to plug a wound he is capable of plugging himself...don't ask me for help until you have tried to help yourself.

If a man can't hold his woman, then she's up for grabs....Same goes for me and my woman....If you want my respect, then keep your woman home and off the street....Otherwise i'll thump my chest at you soundly.

Women are going to do what they want....ain't no man going to stop them...If one drifts my way and stays awhile, then she's mine for a time....I'll fight for her for only as long as she remains with me.....but you can believe i won't claw at her to stay.

Steven they come and they go...they drift in and out of our lives....That's no reason for us to disrupt our pace or direction....Men have to remain steady and on course no matter their drift....In time they will all pass in reach.....The guy who gets ahead doesn't stop and chase them as they drift thru his life, he stays on course and he danged sure don't ring up all stop.

They are just women Steven. They make a new model every year. So don't go goofy on me half way thru the race, ok?...Cause I ain't going to "feel your pain" for you and I danged sure ain't going to stop and cry with you either.

Take a look around you Steven....This country was carved out of hostile wilderness by strong men.....jusy 200 years ago it was nothing but wilderness and trees, and steep river crossing that men had to fight their way thru and across....Men built this country....They didn't cry and stop and whine in harmony, they instead bled and healed and moved on with it. They bled and they died and they moved on with it.

So who said it's time to stop? Who said it was all done and time now for men to cry and feel for each other?..Is that why our fathers fought for this country so we today could sit and cry and feel for each other?....I don't think so.

I don't need friends to feel for me....I want thier respect....but mostly, i want other men who diserve my respect.

We can chat about this at some point in the future, doubt if KS wants us jousting in here LOL.  We need to get a good cut on ticket money too !  Otherwise why give these folks a free show ?  I hear what you are saying Keith, and I approach it quite differently.  What I'm doing is showing "A friend" ultimate respect..

Uh, you must mean Billy...... and yup he's a sexy good ol' boy for sure. Had to hide his pic from myself on my PC so I'd quit staring at it so much.    Tell ya what, let's go again... you can leave ME at the truck stop.... and maybe I'll run into the same good luck.  :)

Well, ya COULDA just came over & went through my stuff for me, then I would not have known what you threw out. "Out of sight, out of mind" you know. Actually, that doesn't work for me very well.
I'm not a pack rat, I hate keeping stuff I don't need..... but I'm too dang sentimental, if someone gives me something, I have trouble ever getting rid of it..... if it means something to me.  So, that's why I have so much stuff. I need to toughen up though, and throw most of it out. And then tell people NOT to give me ANYTHING anymore. (unless it's edible...... hahaha)

Hey Billy,  You want an interesting Karaoke Blues challenge ?

How about Robbie Robertson's  "Somewhere Down the Crazy River"?

Catch the Blue Train
All the way to Kokomo
Look for me
Somewhere Down the Crazy River..

(The original version of "Broken Arrow" is a great song as well)

Yeah, I can see it now
The distant red neon shivered in the heat
I was feeling like a stranger in a strange land
You know where people play games with the night
God, it was too hot to sleep
I followed the sound of a jukebox coming from up the levee
All of a sudden I could hear somebody whistling
Fromright behind me
I turned around and she said
"Why do you always end up down at Nick's Cafe?"
I said "I don't know, the wind just kind of pushed me this way."
She said "Hang the rich."

Oh my gosh, YES, I remember that song. (I'm not revealing my AGE or anything am I?) LoL
Me & my brother used to laugh about that "You can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay"...... but it's really been so long, I don't recall where we had heard it from. (until now of course, you've reminded me)

And ewwww to the "truck stop". I've known to many truckers and heard too many "lounge lizard" stories to want to be associated with those kinds of women, lol. (you can just pick me up at home, 'k?)   :rotflmao:

Well I went singin last night for about 30 mins and had................a cute brunette girl come up and whack me in the butt with a song book. Then she whacked me in each BUTT CHEEK with the song book as I stuck each one out for her. Later this cute BLONDE girl came up and started GRIND Dance against me so I accomodated her and then did some swing dancing with her.  Then as I was getting ready to leave the DJ girl came up and gave me a hug and a peck on the cheek! All in all A SUCCESSFUL EVENING SINGING OUT!!!  :oh yeah:  LMAO

"Women sense my power".....General Jack Ripper, Dr. Strangelove(or how I learned to love the bomb).
