I wonder how many call's DMV get's weekly asking about proper placement of the TV monitor. How can you see the lyric's while driving if the TV isn't situated above the dashboard on the driver's side ?

So you don't like the way I sing Chiquitita ?
I worked for weeks to get the parallel 3rd falsetto harmonies to this verse..and she changes her number
Chiquitita, tell me the truth
I'm a shoulder
you can cry on
Your best friend
I'm the one
you must rely on
You were always
sure of yourself
Now l see you've
broken a feather
I hope
we can patch it up
together

Looking at the lyric's to Chiquitita, It'd take me ages to get the phrasing of that song correct. The lyric's really don't appear synchronized to the melodic structure.
Incidently, I recorded a really nice Flute Apella version of this song ...Year's back, one of the first song's I learned on the flute... You can do alot of fun stuff with just flute harmonies on this song

I have a friend who sits in the back of the bar and will call me on his cell phone and ask to sing. Talk about lazy.

Um, yeah, that's pre-tty lazy, LMAO .
Though, I've done stupid things like that. Called my hubby on his cell from the bedroom to ask him to bring me a cup of coffee. (as a JOKE....... but hey, it worked)

When you think about it mall's, amusement parks, huge fairs these phone's REALLY come in handy, especially for the kids.... Some of you might never have gotten lost at a worlds fair, or gotten lost in a mall when you were young, but it happened ALL the time in the 60's to me, (Some of the times it happened were deliberate of course, but fortunately my parent's didn't get away with ditching me). I had a strange dream last night, that I was in a megaplex indoor shopping arcade, and the person I was with (not clear cut now...as to whether it was a friend, or family), wandered off to do her thing and shop, I wanted to find the toy floor, and see what they had in board games, current styles and prices, see if they still sold them given the advent of technology and the computer age... (LOL, yeah I know, obviously a memory from the past, yet it this dream I wanted to see what a board game sold for now, since it had been about 35 years since I last priced scrabble, or Risk, additionally I almost NEVER go into malls, dont feel comfortable in them)..In this particular Mall the stores at the ends were huge anchor type stores, such as Sears, or Penny's....This one store had about 20 levels... including 5 sub-basements....Anyway, I got lost......hours later I was still wandering around, and I figured, no ride home, I'm alone here..... Now while in the real world, Mall security would've called a kid's parents, assuming it was a kid that got separated from the folks (over the mall PA)......Cell phones really do come in handy in a large amusement park, or worlds fair type setting.... Another consideration too is, as a young kid I had WICKED separation anxiety, if my folks left me alone for a few hours at one of those amusement day-care area's so they could see exhibit's unencumbered I'd freak..... Cell phone knowing noone has disappeared indefineately could've helped that type situation during acute periods.
