[align=left][/align][font=Times New Roman][/font][highlight=gold][/highlight]     This is my first posting at Karaoke Scene.  I love this site, which I discovered by accident (and I'm glad I did).  This site could be addicting!

    I am 52, happily married for 27 years, with two great kids -- a 26 y/o son and a 20 y/o daughter.  I live in the Baltimore, Maryland (USA) area, where I am an executive for a private charitable foundation the mission of which is to help poor people.  It beats practicing law, which I did for 14 years up to 1992.  I love to read and discuss philosophy and political-social issues.  I also enjoy seeing movies.  I am a big fan of the TV show, "24."

    My primary hobby is singing karaoke; I've got a nice setup in my basement.  I didn't start singing until the age of 40.  I generally do not sing at karaoke bars/clubs, but I have enjoyed doing so on a few occasions.  Yesterday and today, I uploaded some songs to the Singer's Showcase (shouldn't that be "Singers' Showcase"?).  

    Well, that's all for now.  I hope to converse with many of my fellow karaoke lovers on this site.
