I would love to be there that weekend but my son is getting married on the 25th so I can't  I would like to come visit the weekend before say the 18th or something like that...I don't have a calendar in front of me right now and I am not smart enought to be able to count backwards by 7....

With your and Charmins issues you guys are gonna have to find a place to meet that is halfway, or you will never meet....But then again you both will know each other by proxy after I meet Charmin...It will be like sharing a communicable disease..you don't always have to be with that person just some one who has been......Ug that is just sick...but funny

Well, now, I think Odie has his dates messed up.  LOL  We really started this whole thing off because YOU said you'd be coming out here in August, to Seattle. It would be ridiculous of us to have one the week AFTER you could be here, LmAo. Odie... no more rum and coke for you buddy! (or whatever that nonsense you drink is)  LOL

It's hard to plan to go to one of these that's very far.... and sheesh, we are as far west as you can get, we're nearly on the coast. The central states really make more sense for holding these things. Except, people like Eben who do travel for their jobs... and may be around anyhow, or have tons of FF miles or something. Even if only Sharon makes it though, and maybe a couple others, it will be a blast.  I think we'll have tons a fun together.  Go sing, get drunk, fall down, get back up long enough to sing again, then pass back out...... ah, I can hardly wait.  :dancin:

Well, we're (I'm) off to a bad start planning wise!    Sharon mentioned it's the weekend of August 18 and 19 that she's in the Portland area.  That is the weekend we are planning for!

Haha, but you forget..... I'm a Texas native too.  :yes:  I'm pretty handy with ropes and such as well... And now you're making it sound like a dare. I might have to just call your bluff on that, and buy your ticket out here.    :wink:

Well if this Portland meet up actually comes off----------how bout we get a little press coverage on it?? I'd be glad to come out and cover it and do a story for Karaoke Scene Magazine and take a pic of everyone of the NW contingent for the story. So let me know if you guys wanna do it. Just give me a venue and a date and Ill bring the notepad, pen and camera.

obviously a deceptive plot to throw us off the trail by sending us to Denny's when the real party will be @ BV  :shock:  LMAO

The Burgerville in Canby has it and also the one on 92nd & Powell right next to 205 has it on first tuesday of the month.

But Denny's in Canby is WAY too small and cramped. Theres antoher one in Canby thats much roomier that would be a much more comfortable setting.

  The BV gives the kids a chance to sing.  Denny's also gives the kids afternoon/early evening shows on the patio Sunday afternoons during the summer months.
