You know you are getting old when you have a story for everything. When the movie Hairspray was released and I went to see it with my daughters I just loved all the music. I came home all excited and searched for tracks from the show. I found a compilation of songs from the show, I believe it was by Pocket songs a special Catalog I believe it was called Music Minus One. I ordered the cd and waited patiently, not. I finally received it and imagine my surprise when I discovered it was created for stage productions and was just the background music. Would I let that stop me... NO! I recorded this, the opening song from the movie, then set forth to add each and every backup vocal. Although it was fun it was so much work. I think there must be like a thousand Pamettes that had to be added, adjusted, eqed, reverbed and balanced in the mix and FED. LOL! Now we all know Joyce does this just for kicks! Nobody can know the amount of precise work that goes into making something like this work. JOYCE you are the Queen! I appreciate every ounce of talent that you posess and respect all the work you put into all your songs! Just so you know, Your amazing talent does not go unnoticed. This ones for you, with it's Warts and all!! Thank you for all the amazing music Joyce! Thank you all for listening.
